I probably won't manage to make anything new for #goblinWeek this year but I will take the opportunity to share the collage poem I made last year, since it is still one of my favorite things I've made
New #collage #poem, about climate change and planting seeds.
This is the second poem I've made by collaging together bits of text from an old econ workbook. (I'm planning to put them all together in a zine when I've completed a few more.)
The first poem, A Bad Dream, can be found here: https://emmajuettner.com/posts/a-bad-dream/
New #introduction now that I've set up my own server— hello, I'm Emma! (previously @emmajuettner@mastodon.art; I'll be migrating my follows over to this new account shortly)
I tend to post about knitting, making collage poems, cooking, creating generative art, mending clothing, tinkering with HTML & CSS, and reading sci-fi stories.

I have no knowledge of this beyond they put "We prefer campy, kitchy, and imperfect [websites]" which is a sentiment that delights me https://mmm.page/

experiencing a weird little bug on my laptop, where something — an image? a slack post? some random browser tab? who knows — occasionally generates a tooltip that pops up to say:
> fuck, dude
i have no idea why or how it’s happening, but i do know i’ve never empathized more with my computer

Some really moving work here, v.grateful for their efforts. I'd love to discover others who I can include in another edition, even if just a single piece of work!
I hope this email finds you and helps you fly away from your enemy.
I hope this email finds you in his, my, bed.
Fun Fact: the Duress Face that you can use to wipe your netslab when the cops force you to face-unlock it, used to be called “Duck Face”. Some historians think this is a reference to the slogan “Duck the Police”, others think it refers to an extinct pre-collapse waterfowl.
A pair of my favorite jeans developed a hole in the knee. This led to me to learning about #Sashiko, a beautiful art of visible mending. This inspired me to create this plotter design.

I hope this email finds you under a balcony and kisses you in the shadows until there's nothing left of you but sparkling fairy dust, and in your weakened state, you ask if she wants to hang out next weekend, and her face clouds and she goes, “Ohhh."
I made a new Mastodon bot, called "I Hope This Email Finds You.” Twice a day it proposes a novel way to conclude that sentence that opens so many emails. (It uses phrases from Google Books that include the phrase “finds you.”) I've been having fun reading these, so I turned it into a bot because you, too, might have fun reading them. https://botsin.space/@thisemailfindsyou/112295528875440987
Any of y'all been involved in running a #repairCafe? I'd love to hear some tips & tricks, pointers, fun stories.
