Finished knitting the Helical Cowl pattern recently. I made it fairly tall so it can be pulled up over the nose to keep the face warm. An unforeseen side effect of the height plus the white yarn: if it's not held in place by a hat, it can sort of flop down into a look that reminds me of an Elizabethan ruff collar
